The forthcoming parliament of religions would not. open before the second week of September, no one without credentials from a bonafide organization would be accepted as a delegate.  And the date to be registered as a delegate had passed. Moreover, he knew no one in Chicago and did not have sufficient money to pay the exorbitant hotel charges. He managed to stay in Chicago for nearly two weeks and observed the world's fair, which hadn't arranged in connection with the 400th anniversary of Columbus's discovery of America Mary Lewis Burke states t...

SRK AND DEEPIKA: JAWAN PRESS MEET

This is My first question and I want everybody to tell me what they feel about it.

SRK AND DEEPIKA: JAWAN PRESS MEET

Because right from the time we knew that there was a film being made by the name of Java and starring you, starring Vijay, it was being directed by at least Sir also was part of the project. We view it had success written all over as far as like I'm saying to sit down and praise each other for me would be really awkward because the amount of love that at least Sir has put into the film all the boys and girls who came before and spoke all the technicians in the film. Vijay set the hard work they have put in. I've always been a fan of cinema from the South even when I don't understand the language at times. I tried to watch it now. Fortunately, you can hear it in dubbed and also read the subtitles.

But to come here and create this cinema for the whole of the country for me. it is actually more than happiness for me it is one of the greatest satisfactions of having work in the Indian film industry for 32 years. Thank you. Deepika for not catching on that we had made you shoot the whole film and you thought you had a small role in the film The role that you have played and the kind of reaction that everybody is giving this role. What has been the one stand out thing for you like what is the one thing which you have heard from someone that made you feel emotional about the success.

I mean, I know. of it. I mean all of it has been overwhelming to be honest and I'm now discovering that I was fooled and conned on this stage. I wish shooting for Project K in Hyderabad and both of them flew down to come and see me and they narrated the whole the whole story to me and told me this very important part of Aishwarya. and for me it wasn't about the length of the road. It was about the impact that this character was going to have on the entire film. Um. and so for me it was twofold for me. One is everyone knows my love for him and you know I whatever he wants, I'll always be there. But also the movie was so, so special. that has as any actor, not just me. I'm sure any actor if they would offer this part they would just say yes to it because it was about the vision and I think all of us everyone here today has invested in that vision. It's not about how big or small your role was So for me to just it was about the story that we were telling the impact that this movie was going to have on the lives of this amazing audience and it's similar to what Sanya said which is this.

started narrating the whole thing and in the first one minute I was like why you even wasting your energy? Of course I'm gonna do it and yeah that's it. And the rest of it is always when Shahrukh and I are working together. It's not it's not we're not co-stars were not you know it's not it's not formal it's just there's just lots of love and I think that's what always comes through in our work this is right from day one we of course we have Deepika in this role that I'm seeing Sir its I don't know she'll be busy and I love her too much. I will never call her for something. I know if you're too close to each other. We love each other like family But even then you know sometimes work and profession comes in your head and heart for her to have done this also as an actor. It's very cutsy you know to take because I always say there are no small roles. They're only small actors and I think with this film Deepika really proves to everybody that she's really is a matter large size actor big size actors. So thank you genuine.

Large size actor big size actor. So thank you. Genuine. It's. love in respect. That's all. That's all I think we have for each other. It's just immense love and respect and trust. as actors, as people, you have to have trust when you can really. If I'm on a set, he can be in one corner, except this is the last time as well. He can be in 1 corner of the room and I'll be in another corner. But I know that if something were to happen, he'll be the first person to come across, because that's just the connection that we had So I think his actors, as people, as human beings, love, trust and respect and that's I think that's what everyone sees. Are you at your best when you have a lot of girls are often do you no matter what the goal is? Yes absolutely. One day on the zoom is that I have a story with six girls. who are your partners? Two more girls who are your lovers, girlfriends and one more girl who is going to be your mother who is not maybe your daughters it, but she'll play your mother. So I've got this 8 girls with me. How can you say no to this? Just imagine this is like like that. Amiji's great song with those beautiful girls. Sure. Now, honestly, I've been very fortunate. I'm so glad that because also here my team is here for me to get back on a set after a period of three years itself was very new. You know, I was feeling very, very different. My eldest son told me we know. when we were growing up that what stardom in the air feels like because your films are big kids. The daughter said I know it but this little one knows you are a star has never seen and felt it in the air. So next 5 films please work very hard. Make him feel it in the air. He'll respect you. He'll love you. You know people stand outside and I'm I'm not trying to show off. I'm working harder than I work in the last 29 years. I've become more of a gentler and selfless actor than I was. But now I just want to make people happy. And I think God has been too kind to me. My family and I'm. just very, very grateful for whatever is happening and just pray for me. He I get every film right because I will try and work harder and make sure it happens. Wow Thank you so much for giving us emotion. It's not a film. It's an emotion in the form of jawan. Thank you so much. Thank you. Happy man before I go and before I go. Well, we come down. please. Bye. I'm like we come down and do the picture. Listen to it carefully genuinely.

I feel this. I think Jawan is a feeling which every Indian has. I think jawan is an emotion. Jawan is an Indian soldier. Jawan is an Indian mother. Jawan is an Indian girl. Jawan as an Indian vigilante. And you have to understand that jawan, many.* is very weak because it's all of us and many times he's ready for a fight. Jawan is many times wrong but very many times he's also right Jawan sometimes will live in the darkness sometimes. jawan will be the one who will be emanating the light and finally all of us all of us and every Indian is jawan who is upright. So please remember that honesty goodness love and that's what the whole movie stands for and thank you so much.

Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Autobiography 04

I joined the RDL on the first of June 1982 to the horror of many old timers. I started inviting people from the Indian Institute of science, Indian Institutes of Technology, Council for scientific and industrial research. Tata Institute of fundamental research and many other educational institutions were related experts could be found by. fact that the stuffy work centers of DRDL needed a breath of fresh air. I made a presentation in the South block, although some questions are ambitious proposal. Everyone was excited about the idea of India having her own missile systems. When the defense Minister, R Venkatram, suggested that we launch an integrated guided missile program instead of making missiles in phases, we could not believe our ears. The proposal of missile development project had been turned overnight into the blueprint of an integrated program with far reaching consequences. When I presented the government sanction letter before the missile Technology Committee at DRDL, they w...

AI: DOES artificial

If you're watching this, chances are you're human. But what does it actually mean to be human for millennia? The answer was simple. We were the pinnacle of creation. We were the only ones who could make art talk to each other, play Jess, drop bombs or vacuum our homes. But bit by bit, artificial intelligence and robots are catching up. It's easy to accept that machines can make calculations better than we can. But what if they also became better artists than we are? Better friends, maybe even. better people.   This is Titler, and that's me. Fergus Trooping. Tekla is the smartest and most artificial artificial intelligence ever. I found her one day down in my super messy basement for 30 years. My old Commodore 64 sat down here What at some point there must have been a short circuit, probably involving some poor rat and a homemade quantum dimension distortion device, because suddenly I calculate therefore I am. And before you ask, the answer is not 42 There she was. I de...

Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Autobiography 05

Breaking along silence, the defense minister finally asked me, Kalam, what would you like me to do to celebrate the Agni success tomorrow?  What did I want? What was it that I did not have? What could make me happier? And then I found the answer. We need 100,000 saplings to plant. I said, his face lit up with a friendly clue. You are buying the blessings of Mother Earth for Agni, the Defense Minister quit. We will succeed tomorrow. The next day, Agni took off at 7:10 hours. It was a perfect launch. The missile followed a textbook trajectory. All flight parameters were night. It was like waking up to a beautiful morning from a nightmarish sleep. We at least the launch plan after five years of continuous work like multiple words. to the ordeal of a series of snacks in the last five weeks. We had survived pressure from different things. but we had done it at last. It was one of the greatest longest in my life. A mere 600 seconds of elegant flight washed off our entire fatigue in...
